    What do I need

Ok, I'm trying to nLite a Windows XP SP2 disk, but every time I do, I get activeX errors.

What, exactly, do I need to leave in for ME to work.

Did you use the safe nlite settings?

I tried to just stick them in the "last session.ini" that nLite creates by default, but it didnt work. How exactly would I use them?

Edit: And what the **** did you do to your avatar?

Ever try checking / responding to your email? This is what I sent you two days ago:

Have you used any sort of utility to speed up / strip down windows? If so, you've probably removed a component of ado / mdac. If not, send me a copy of your debug.log file.

Odd, I didn't get that. Maybe picked up as spam? I read somewhere in the forums about needing MDAC, so I made a new XP disk and triple checked that Jet and MDAC was in it. Still got the error, are there other dependancies that I am missing? Yesterday, I just did a full WINXP install (huge and godawfully slow) and it worked fine, but I still want to trim the fat.

    ADO (ActiveX Data Objects)?

I'm messing with nLite right now, maybe I can put together a list of what can be safely removed.

I don't have time right now to make a disk and install it, but after a quick glance you need to leave in:

Operating System Options / Jet Database Engine
    Operating System Options / MDAC
    Services / COM+

There may be more, but I haven't seen anything that jumps out at me.

Ok, that would be the problem, I was leaving out COM+. Thanks, gonna make a new disk.
