Recursing dir's causes ME to goto tray screens lost
Reply With QuoteInteresting developement on this. I deleted all .pls, .m3u and .txt files in the media directory also changed my playlist directory to another directory that is on the same drive. I could then click the recuse button and a folder. The folder contents would display. Yippie I thought, I can use it again. Well not exactly. When a select a song, any song, to start playing in the recused directory list I get a ME screen where the song names should be displayed but the song is not playing. No songs are listed. Only album art. The same album art no matter what the directory. ABC News on a white background. It's even friggin animated and changes to "America" with a red star on a white background. ME still works, I can choose to play another song providing I don't recurse. Now the problem is 50% fixed. I can list a recure but can't use it. It's still better than it crashing. On the way home I'll try specifying another directory that is not within the media directory. Possibly it's trying to double load the pls or m3u Winamp is making. The ABC news thing is pretty interesting though.
