GPS Question

I have never used a GPS this way before. I'm looking at purchasing a Rikaline of a Holux 210. From what I understand, I plug it in, set it up like any other hardware. Then download software and should be good to go?

I would also like to know if I were going to a destination, and the GPS software was "telling" me where to go, can I listen to music at the same time?

yes.. the audio is jsut like a "ding" form windows or any other audio source .. however since it all goes through the wave mapper, you ahve no mixing controls on it.

but yes, the GPS unit just feeds nmea data toy our program of choice

Oh no worries. Already spent an hour at work reading that. Good write up too!

I didn't see any mention of MediaEngine though see. And I don't want to switch programs cause I think this one ROCKS!

I'm leaning way more towards the Holux 210. Good price on e-bay.

I have the holux gm-210 with Iguidance and Mediaengine.. works great.. quick connect and accurate as well.
