when i play a dvd it works fine. but lets say i choose to play something of my hard drive for example a music video. the last picture of the dvd movie stays on like its frozen while the song plays from the music video but no picture. only the frozen picture from the actual dvd disc. ALSO i noticed that if im watching a dvd movie and i wanna pause it and switch to a song . when i go back to the dvd it restarts everytime. is there any way to fix this? is this a bug? or is it written to function this way? also GREAT PROGRAM! I LOVE IT!

I'm working on it. I haven't had a chance to test playing a dvd, but I have fixed a few other bugs where the 'Loading' screen pops up and never goes away.

I think I've resolved all the issues related to switching between dvd and filesystem based video. I'll P/M you with the link - test it out and report back please.
As for your questions about resuming a dvd, we haven't implemented any functionality for this as yet. I believe it is possible to get the dvd control we use to save a bookmark, but this is a feature that would take a considerable amount of time to implement. I'll put it on the 'todo' list, but it could be on there for a long time.

On a side note I went back to MEversion 2.1.5 and it works flawlessly with Copilot 8. I previously used Copilot 2003 with ME and it would freeze when going back and forth to the MP3 screen. This was definetly a Copilot issue..it didn't work well with any other apps. Now I can have Copilot running with the minibar for MP3 selection and both ME and Copilot resume from hibernation without issue.

I'm debating releasing the 2.3.3 build as it is right now. I wanted to get the xm direct issues fixed for this release now that I have a receiver to test with, as well as implement some fixes for different GPS apps, but I haven't had much time to work on M/E lately.

will the 2.3.3 release have all the bugs worked out for going back and forth to dvd and video? im still having a few problems trying to get that to work with the exe file you sent me. i dont use xm as of now so if you could release the 2.3.3 it would be awesome.
Are you saying you're having problems switching between dvd and video, or having problems getting the executable to work?
