MediaEngine not opening GPS

I'm trying to get media engine working with ViaMichelin Mapsonic but i cant get it to open either as an external application or through the GPS button.

When i try to run i through the GPS button it just says loading and never does anything...i left it an hour so its definately not going to load.

As an external app media engine minimizes but does nothing, you can hear the PC working hard but nothing ever happens...

Any ideas because other than this Media Engine is fantastic!!

If it might help others, please post what you did to get it to work. We only have access to a limited number of gps applications, so the more info we make available here the better.
