    I have the latest version og media car, everything looks great but I can't get video to run smoothly !!!! It's real slow and jerky. ? Any thoughts ?

    I think mine stems from the fact that my carputer uses a pentiumII 366!, the choppiness that is.

    Well, that's my guess as well, but it doesn't seem to do anything on my install. Does it do anything on anybody elses?

    IIRC, coyote indicated there was a problem with gamma correction and video choppiness.

    Sorry if its not cool to ask for a feature, but it is possible that it is already implemented and I haven't found a way to do it.

    Is it possible to add to Mediacar a Monkey's audio plug-in?

    My main drive for having a CarPC is playing original or Lossless music.

    Alric:

    Copy the in_ape.dll to the plug-ins dir on your mediacar directory.

    Then in the mediacar configuration, add .ape as a music filetype.

    Thats it!

    (I aint tried it with ape myself, but i got mine doing aac's and mp4's perfectly)

    Is your sound card setup and working? Drivers for sound card must be installed.

    Check that....
