    I have downloaded DIVX511 bundle, And still nothing. Also, I don't have Mediacar set up in the start menu, Just a uninstall shortcut with no target... There was some sort of error in the install program at the very end of the install, Maybe it was that? Anyway, Any ideas?

    Oh, Coyote, I know you're not adding any new stuff right now, But when you start that again, Maybe you could add support for idv2 tags and scrolling song titles? That would raise the bar...

    What version have you installed ? If you dont have all the shortcuts then I thinks that you don't have installed a complete version.

    You need to install the V1.8.3 then the V1.8.4(Patch).

    Also, are you sure that your video file isn't an Xvid instead of a Divx ? if it's a Xvid you need also this codec.

    Yeah, I did install the patch, I forgot all about that. Vidx? I'll have to look into that... I'll let you know...

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Where do I install these codecs? Also, Where would be a good place to get them?

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Hi Coyote,
    I have this problem.
    Since i installed Visual Basic 6.0 in spanish when I modify the configuration of Mediacar activating the gamma, the file settings.ini is writed but with the values translated to spanish.
    Then Mediacar doesn't recognize them and it doesn't activate the gamma and the other options that they are true or false.
    I send to you a part of the settings.ini file:

    [General]
    FirstStart=False
    SkinPath=C:\Archivos de programa\MediaCar\skins\SCORPINUM\
    AudioExt=mp3,cda,wav,wma
    VideoExt=avi,mpg,dat,vob,rv9,mpeg
    ResumeOnStart=Falso <------ False
    KeyRepeatTime=700
    KeyRepeatFreq=200
    ExitFunction=ASK
    GammaEnabled=Verdadero <------- True
    HideMouse=Verdadero <------- True
    MapMasterToWaveAndCd=Falso <------ False
    AutoLaunch=NONE

    I have desinstalled Visual Basic and installed again Mediacar but I have not solved the problem.

    Thanks

    Mediacar 1.83 + 1.84 patch: Run time error '68'

    When I click on the mp3 button I get a pop-up:

    Run-time error '68' Device unavailable

    Running win98 SE
    Mediacar 1.83 + patch 1.84
    installed in d:\programme
    Previous installed version was working (I believe 1.81), I uninstalled before the installation of 1.83.

    gps app seems to work fine. (Navigon)

    Regards,

    David Hoekstra.

    Do you have a CD in your CD-Rom when this error occurs ?
    Or do you have specified, in the setup, a CD-Rom path that don't exist on your system ?
