In short, software for detecting wireless networks....

I'm still not able to have volume control with Mediacar. I read through this thread, and the people that are having volume control problems are getting errors. I'm not getting an error, just not able to change the volume.. it is stuck at 0%. In the Mixer the master volume and the wave volume buttons are stuck at 0% and not able to be changed.

Any suggestions?

Wireless has nothing to do with GPS! But you can use GPS with NetStumbler...

Then I'll revise my answer - Netstumbler has nothing to do with GPS! Netstumbler detects wireless networks!! You can use a GPS with NetStumbler to plot your location when you find a wireless network but it's not essential to NetStumbler.

NetStumbler is not used with MapPoint OR AGPS - where does it say that?
You can use MapPoint (or any mapping software) to plot your detected wireless locations to a map but they are seperate things.

but now, if i'm using this external soundcard and i want to open mixer, mediacar will be closen without any error! do you have any idea why this happen??? ;-( i want to use normal radio over the line in and i need the mixer to control it...

ok.. i sold terratec USB soundcard and bought the creative audigy2 nx usb card! it's much better and works..
