when you first run setup everything works perfectly then when you start MC up again after its been closed the volume percentage shows up as 0 and the volume sliders inthe mixer can't be changed, save for preamp and winamp volume which is not the master one.

any help/thoughts?

I have the opposite problem.
On both my PCs including my m10000, the master vol., bass, treble, wave, line, cd and aux volumes all do the same thing - control the master volume.

When you launch an external GPS application such as CoPilot the taskbar entry for MediaCar dissapears
This is problematic since I want to have both MediaCar and CoPilot open and switch between the two using the taskbar but its impossible since theres no MediaCar entry there anymore

Thats weird I tried it again today and there was no problem.

Another issue that cam up was when closing an external application the program would not close everything just keep looping.

I could'nt use any button in mediacar or on windows cause it keep looping back to the program media car was trying to close. I just had to do a hard reset.

On choosing GPS ( using destinator ) the parallel LCD shows DVD not GPS, the best way would be to show either destinator API data ( current speed etc on LCD ) or just show song playing or GPS

I'm on the VIA M10000 and I don't have those problems. I haven't installed winamp yet though either.

I get an error if I put MediaCar in my Start Group. I believe that it's because the application launches WinAmp, but WinAmp takes longer to start than MediaCar is prepared to wait?

This only happens after I reboot (my guess is the OS is still loading stuff in when MediaCar launches)

I get an error when I do the following:

- Launch MapPoint (via GPS button)
- Let it track for a little while (ie. 10 seconds)
- Make the GPS loose signal for awhile (ie. 10 seconds)
- When it sends a signal, an error occurs (I forget the exact error, but something about referencing outside the bounds of an array)


The application continues after I dismiss the dialog box.

Also, is there a way to make the application "swallow" the errors. When I'm driving I'd rather have it crash (for a serious error), than trying to click on an error box..
