Try this new executable.

Thanks to launch the setup to correct automatically the Winamp path before testing again.
Thanks for all your feedbacks![]()

I just noticed something else with the MapPoint setup.
I have MapPoint 2004 North America, set to the default of showing everything in US units (MI). MediaCar shows me route information in KM.
I don't see an option to change that setting.
Also, will MediaCar use my default driving speeds input into MapPoint when calculating travel times? My company has MapPoint integrated into some of our software, and I don't think any of our stuff used the values set up in MapPoint- we had to set them ourselves.![]()
One more-
If GPS was the last screen I had up when I shut down the program, MediaCar starts up like this:
MP3 screen comes up.
I had 1 album loaded when it was shut down, so there should have been 12 songs or so in the list. Only the first song was there.
The song started to play.
Then the MapPoint portion of the GPS screen appeared, and 2 MediaCar buttons on the toolbar starting jumping back and forth, each taking the focus from the other, very rapidly. I was unable to use the program at all; it was completely hung.
Normally I only have 1 MediaCar toolbar button, of course.
I can't reproduce this problem, what is our setup for the "auto launch" ?Originally Posted by nstenz

Auto launch was set to 'LAST USED'. When I shut the program down, an MP3 was playing and the GPS module was the active one.Originally Posted by coyote
Which gps module ? Mappoint, Destinator or external ? If it's mappoint, the "show pos" is ON or OFF, with or without USB Gps receiver ?Originally Posted by nstenz
Thanks

Show position should have been off- I don't have my GPS receiver installed yet. How do I check if it is turned on or not? If it's the indicator on the top of the GPS screen that says 'OFF', then I guess it's turned off.
I just found another one. Bugs are easier to find when you're using in-car software for testing at your regular workstation.
Hitting 'next' on the MP3 screen with shuffle and repeat on but with playback stopped sometimes lets out a fraction of a second of each song as I'm hitting the next button.
1. Stop playback. Make sure shuffle and repeat are turned on.
2. Hit 'next'.
3. Wait 5 seconds or so, listening for any sound.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3.
Occasionally, I'll hear something on step #3, even though I don't have anything playing. It just gives me a little hiccup of the song (probably whatever Winamp pre-buffered). I do have Winamp set to buffer the entire song in memory, if that matters. They're all .ogg files.
It's not that big of a deal; I just thought I'd let you know it's an issue.
Keep up the good work.
slight track formating issue with the 1.9a for large playlist >1000 the playlist number and track name overlap
