    Two minor ones:

After sleeping and resume the cursor comes back, even if "hide cursor" is selected.

The highlight of a pressed button remains on after the press. Could the highlight be made momentary? I know this is probably meant for people with remote controls but if using a touchscreen it is distracting.

    Thanks,

    Here's another one.

Any time MediaCar is running, the hard drive is being read constantly.

I'm afraid that is a really bad idea in a moving car, which is why I set Winamp to read my entire MP3 from disk before playing it.

It's mostly Winamp re-reading its .ini file, although MapPoint accesses C:\ quite frequently as well. Neither program does this when running standalone, so it appears that MediaCar is doing something to make them act that way. Can this be changed?

I'm attaching a log of file activity from apps launched from MediaCar.

Winamp read its ini file when Mediacar gets status, tracknum, Bitrate, current track time, ... every 100ms, then I can't change it.

for the touscreen users, when you selectes a function the annoying message of what that function does comes up as if youre floating the pointer over the function.

I would imagine that could be fixed via a .skin file? i'd like to know as well.

i also don't like how the button i just pushed stays hilighted ... but again, that can be fixed with the skin images.

You can remove whatever is between the "s in the last section of each line in the skin files to remove the tool-tip text.

I actually mentioned the fact that the buttons stay "highlighted" after pressing them a good couple of months ago to coyote, and suggested he did like he does with the video player screen, and move the mouse to the bottom corner of the screen after a short delay. He said he would...but we haven't seen it yet.

Argh. There's no other way to do it?

How are you reading the info back from Winamp?
