    Hi!
I moved the library from my car pc to my external usb hard drive and I'll try to do it from there, than copy it back. What I want to do is use tag & rename to just rename the files, taking the info from the ID3 tag on the file. I wonder if I can do this with that program....I'll give it a try and see. I know I saw the defiller and frodo recommend this program....I'll see. Thanks for the help! How's that xm coming along?

Do it an artist at a time, and it won't take too long

Coyte - not sure where to post this one ( and any body else feel free to shoot me down in flames for been stupid ). I have got my remote working now ( see pic ) and I am using Girder. Idealy I would love to have native support for this remote ( and I think there may be a few others who are intrested here ) and to be able to have a function for each button ie press the GPS but and it goes to it from where ever you are.

The reason I bring this up is when mapping out my new Girder file I was unable to find key commands to move to next track / prev track or FF / RR which the keys do in the music area.

    1) Can we get 10x remote support installed ?
    2) Can each button be made actove and usable ( I am sure every function is in MC already )
    3) If you can could we make it active in the GPS area - ie Destinator move around the menus etc
    4) Make a go to function the music - go to 40 mins etc ( Found out that may be good in long tracks or mixes )

Feel free to comment every one - but if there is enough demand Coyte may fit it in..

PS :- Sorry if its in here but 10 pages is a lot to read

Is it possible to use the codecs from dvd programs like WinDVD or PowerDVD to play DVDs internal from MediaCar like the Videos? I have problems with the small Buttons of my WinDVD5.
This function would be very great!!

Coyote - I don't know how you programmed the video part, but if you used windows media player ocx 6.4, here`s the link:

I hope this can help you.

Id like to see that as well, maybe just integrate the Video player and DVD in one?

Also what about those w/ a rearview cam? Can we get some addons for that, or better yet, able to add buttons w/ app launching?

The video part is completely coded in Mediacar, I don't use any SDK or ocx component. I use the Directshow and DirectX functionalities.

For the DVD player I will do the same.
