Bugs in 181 - or im using it wrong?

    Hi
Great job on 181, and fast too. Dont think i ever saw a programmer being this quick to adapt userrequests.
I just installed 181 on my laptop and have a comment about the default skin. It seems the shuffle and repeat symbols conflict with the clock in mp3 menu.
My laptop runs at 1024x768 and when i change between fireskull and default skin the window jumps on the screen. Default skin is at the top left corner but fireskull are at the bottom right (too low to reach all of the buttons).
Also, the music stops when changing skins.
how do i reach the setup when mediacar has been run for the first time? I can change settings.ini to launch it, but are there any other way?

    Thumbs up

You can get to setup by- Start>programs>Coyote Mediacar>Mediacar Setup

    >It seems the shuffle and repeat symbols conflict with the clock in mp3 menu.

he he, they do! he must have forgotten to move them or something...

You could always edit the 'audioplayer.skin' file in the default skin directory. Look for these two lines -

    L09,580,055,150,030,255,255,255,15,"Arial Black","TIME","Time"
    L10,580,080,150,030,255,255,255,15,"Arial Black","DATE","Date"

and change the second number in to 580 as above. That'll move the clock left a bit.
it's getting fairly crowded in that window, though!

any ideas what causes the "jumping windows" when changing skin and the audio stopping? Is this just my machine or is it a general prob?

Don't worry, it's normal that the music stopping when you change skin. I must unload all running modules except Menu before apply the new skin. It's more easy to code for me like that and it's much more stable.

Is this really a problem ? The music is resumed at the same position when you launch again the audio player (same with the video) and I presume that you don't want to change skin every 5 minutes

I just installed 1.81 on top of 1.8 and I run into a problem.
As usual, the main windown of MC load up. I run winamp. It loads and play, but any click(right or left) after that. It throw an error, and if I click OK, MC close but winamp is still playing. The same thing happen with Divx.
Oh yeah I use pain and convert the image so it looks a little wacko.

My laptop runs at 1024x768 and when i change between fireskull and default skin the window jumps on the screen. Default skin is at the top left corner (as expected) but when i change to fireskull it jumps to the bottom right (too low to reach all of the buttons).
Like you said before, im not gonna change skin every minute, so it wont be a problem. Just wanted to know if anybody else have seen this

Simply go to the setup and check the x,y position parameters for each skin, the default skin is at 0,0 (Top left) by default and the Fireskull is at 200,200 (pixels) by default
