I think there might be a nice market for custom skins, especially for those of us that show their cars and would like to highlight the make/model, or match an interior lighting color. Your existing silver buttons would work fine, but I'd like an orange Nissan background of some sort. If I provided the .jpg for the background, how much to finish the skin? I'd love to support your efforts, and would also be happy if you were to make it available for any Nissan enthusiast to download if I receive credit for the original background image, even though I paid for the first copy.

I don't mind making you a personalized skin. Give me a better idea of what you're willing to pay me. If you don't want to make the ability to pay me amount public, just send me a private message.

Do you have corrected the continuity of the index of all the buttons in the menu.skin (B01, B02, ...) and change the order to correspond with the order of the icones ?

I don't begrudge anyone making money, but am I the only one that think's it's a little off trying to make money off the back of someones software that they're releasing and updating for free? Granted it takes work to make the skins, but it takes (unpaid) work to write the software too!

Just my opinion. They are great skins, by the way.

Car changed for TVR Griffith 500, so computer de-installed. Using a Dension 100ix w/60Gb HD unit in the interim.

I have the same opinion but I hope that each one has enough maturity to accept or not these conditions and to assume its choices. I cannot oblige people to give works to them completely free.

Why not use the donations, that would be perhaps healthier?

I think that if the fellow works for it he should make money with it. If he wants to give it away, thats his choice. If he doesn't want to give it away, thats his choice also. If I can come up with some cool graphics, I may use his services.

I agree 100%, and the same thought crossed my mind when I made the offer. Mindtool never tried to make $$ off a custom skin. I offered money to have him make one for me. I would love to donate some $$ to Coyote for his efforts. Without MediaCar (and my Lilliput) I wouldn't be enthusiastic enough about this project to consider paying someone to make me a custom skin.
