I think coyote is reluctant to see that as a "bug", but with 3-4 people reporting it (myself included) then there must be something he forgot to do

hehe yes work - that was what i forgot to do.

but the muting issue is not big of a deal - just a small glitch..

what are you using as a GPS software, i have tried out the Infomap Navigator, and found it abit hard to use via the 7" screen...

then i have tried out a pice of software called Navicar specially made for 7" screens, but that is quit pricey

I personally am using Destinator.

A bit expensive, but very nice, IMO

Is anyone having problems with lockups in MediaCar 1.9x? Both me and a friend of mine are having an issue with MediaCar locking up on certain MP3 folders.

Is there a limit as to how many songs you can have in one folder? Would say 200 songs pose a problem?

What is happening is we will go to "List", browse to the folder we want and select it. It will then start playing in MediaCar. But if we try to page through the songs it will lock up the program on us. Does it every single time on certain folders.

Ideas?

I haven't had it lock on me while browsing the folder lists.

I do notice if you have alot of songs in a folder, it has a huge delay when it tries to list the mp3s.

Is it on specific songs, or just any song in that folder? You might have a corrupted file somewhere, or something within that file that MediaCar isn't expecting as it's reading it

Leslie, I changed the font size in XP and it changed it in Mediacar also. Try that.

Confused, I figured out what the problem is. Yes, there are a few songs in that folder with corrupt ID3 tags. If I disable ID3 support then it works fine.

Hello !

I got the same USB Radio Problem with the DLink radio.
Whenever I am exiting the radio the radio music doesn't stop and isn't stopping when I am entering another menu like GPS or MP3, too.
Does anybody know an GPS-USB-Receiver which I can use with an external GPS-antenna on my roof ?
It would be nice if i could order it in europe eventually in germany.

Media Car ist not perfect, but is better, than so some bought program!
