I have the same issue when I use my WMA files ( i encode my cd's to lossless WMA which results in files between 20 and 50Mb depending on the length)

Now you don't really have to kill the process .. you can just exit mediacar and then start it again, Mediacar will then take back control over the winamp process in the background and you are set.. Didn't knew it either but one soon tries to discover alternatives to trying to find he's keyboard in the back and then pressing ctrl+ALT+DEL @ 140km/hour on the freeway ;-)
I'm going to hell, who's comin' with me ?

Hello Coyote.... I can't seem to reach you other than this method. I have a question I want to ask you. Can our company install the Mediacar into the carpc and sell it to the customers? Or, is there any restrictions???

Please let me know as soon as possible.
    Thank you.

I very much like de new skins with aluminum. Thank you!! I have a problem though. It works very well on my laptop but on my Epia MII 6000 carcompter I can only use the default skins. Ik I load the new skins I get as a message:

    error number 380
    Invalid property value
    Debug information
    mediacar.Frm_main_menu.loadskin

if I try changing the skin from within Mediacar I get:

    Error number 13
    Type: mismatch
    debug information
    mediacar_main_menu.LoadSkin

after clicking on o.k. 14 times I get the rightscreen once for a breif moment and then errornumber:380 (see above again) the app closes right after this....

what do I do wrong, who can help

    TIA

    You are missing a font.
Install the font or set the skin to use a different one.

Does anyone have a problem of their computer freezing after videos are played? When I play videos through MediaCar and after the first music video is through, it will give me a black screen and freeze the carputer.

I tried playing my videos through Windows Media Player but I get the same results. Anyone know why it freezes after each video played?

    Thanks for the help,

I can't open the download page. Maybe it's because I'm sitting behind a firewall and the filter is blocking the page, but I can't ping the server either.

Are there any other page with MediaCar?

I'm sitting at work and want to test the program. I've tested Media Engine, and think it's great. But wan't to test MediaCar also..

Hope anyone can give me a link that works
