yep i did that, but still have to mute and unmute by hand. its that way on both my carpc and my home pc.
you have to double click your little speaker icon in the taskbar and then go to options -> properties then click the recording button and then OK, then you click the select box next to line in (or whatever your radio is plugged into)Originally Posted by kram

other then that everything else works great
coyote,
I have found that the Line In will un-mute when you open Radio, and will continue to be unmuted as you go back to main menu.
However, when you go into MP3 mode, it will NOT mute the line in, and you'll still hear the static/previous station (currently for me mainly static)
When you exit out of MediaCar however, it mutes.

it happened to me first time...
but as coyote explained if you keep linein muted in windows...
it will unmute into radio and mute when you go into other source
(still playing in main menu but will be muted when going into mp3 or video)
however i tested dlink dru-r100 on my desktop w/ winXP it works but all of sudden windows crashes and restart... i did search and got new driver someone wrote it to fix the problem... still does same thing...
and... in my carpc w/ win2000... radio does not scan any station...
anyone has idea?

The Line-in need to stay muted because I use a line-in plugin for winamp that I launch by charging de playlist "Radio.m3u" when the Radio module is launched.
Try to launch winamp without Mediacar and charge the "Radio.m3u" playlist to see if it's not winamp who play with the line-in

I will try it when I next go out to the car and have some network access.
