Check you don't have anything else open with the name "externaldest", did you, by any chance, create a folder with the same name? It looks through active windows until it finds that name, if there are more than one it will get confused. I found this when I had my app and folder name the same and both were open, it was trying to encapsulate the folder rather than the app.

Getting Type mismatch 13 in form_load window name dest2

PLZ where's the problem. There is a bit strange behaviour with starting ExternalDest, getting that error + when I close the error windows before destinator loads the red bearing arrow is visible but when i close it after destinator have closed the red arrow isnt visible. Need help. Though Destinator alone works Great..??.

I was able to get what I wanted ...

My photoshop skills are very limited, but I was able to add previous track/next track buttons. Here's what it looks like. Once again, Garry thanks for the great job!

Gary - where are all the buttons for Destinator its self - looking at skinning them the same as the main cns skin but I can't find them.

Are they embebed in the main prog - if so can this be changed so they reside out side - have I dowloaded the wrong version ? Can you place a psd cut of the skin on your server as well ?

These and many more question to be answered in the next episode of the car pc.... "their comming to take me away ha ha he he" ( Queen for any one that did not know )

Seriosly - any chance you can help here ?

Using the skinning functionality of Garrys Destinator it's fairly easy. I created a 800X544 blank jpg-you have to subtract the top of the MediaCar window because Garry's Destinator can't control MediaCar's screen-yet... (800x600 is what I'm running-I think you're able to run a widescreen ratio) and put the two buttons I wanted down on the bottom of the screen. I screen captured Destinator running and brought that into photoshop to figure out where to place the buttons. I used Mauri's DESTINATORBTN.bmp for the button backgrounds and resized them in Photoshop. They don't match perfectly with how Destinator stretches, but close enough for me. Then it's just a matter of editing the EXTERNAL_DESTINATOR_GPS.skin to move the placement of the buttons over the new locations. Here's what my EXTERNAL_DESTINATOR_GPS_OFF.jpg and EXTERNAL_DESTINATOR_GPS_ON.jpg look like. I hope this helps.
