Heres a new fnction I thought off while waiting for her to go round the shops... time syncing.... how does GPS work... it sends out a higly acurate time to the reciever.... what about seting the car PC clock with it ? My in car one does it by RDS but would this be cool or what ? Down the pub 'Excuse me mate what time is it ? 0915am - are you sure - yes I set my watch by my car and that is set by 13 geo-stationary satielights cirlcing the earth at appox 10 miles high' - How cool.....

I thought most GPS receivers could only lock to 12 max....

Am I missing a trick here or do you have dual GPS receivers?

Well it's definately do-able, providing the user logged in is Admin (lower user groups can't do things like change time )

Update every time GPS is loaded?

As the main user on all my PC's I have admin rights, it seems to be the way that XP pro sets you up as default.

Still searching for a 13 way GPS unit....

Told you it was a good idea - even the rest of the world won't be able to use 13 1 lol

Ah well - I got it wrong...

Gary - yes - start the app / sync / time set on machine...

Does routis have an SDK, and/or an easy way to be embedded into an application?
