    radio problem

When I listen to radio and wanna change to mp3 the radio is still there. I get two music sources. And I can't get rid of the radio. Not even if I exit mediacar.
I know I can choose line-in mute, but then i can get any sound in it when I restart mediacar

    What to do about this?

Same here, It doesn't automatically mute the line-in from the radio until you exit the program. Also have to stop mp3 or else they keep playing. BTT

    Hi,
Also I have the same problem.
It would need that there pits a button to go out of the radio player that also makes to extinguish the music of the radio.

The button mute not work directly for the radio player?

All your problems come from only one thing :You don't use Winamp to listen the line-in.

    First of all :

    - Mute the line-in volume
    - Choose the line-in input as recording device
    - Launch Winamp who is into the Mediacar installation folder, twice to see it
    - Load in winamp the file "Radio.m3u" who is into the Mediacar folder

You should hear the radio passing through Winamp, if you un-mute the line-in volume you should hear twice the radio with a small delay who generate an echo.

If this don't work then there is a problem with the Line-in plugin for Winamp. Try then to open the URL "line://" into winamp, if with this you hear the line-in through Winamp then your soundcard maybe don't support 48Khz sampling rate or other thing of the line-in configuration that you could see into the "Radio.m3u" file.

Try to change the line "line://srate=48000,numbuffers=5000,bufsize=s576,title=Hig h Quality (VIS),hideformat" who is into the "Radio.m3u" file by "line://srate=44000,numbuffers=5000,bufsize=s576,title=Hig h Quality (VIS),hideformat"

Visit also the site of the author of this plugin for a full list of the supported parameters or for troubleshooting the parameters for your hardware : http://home.hccnet.nl/th.v.d.gronde/

When you are able to hear the radio through Winamp with this plugin, simply update the "Radio.m3u" file with the parameters who work for you and ensure to keep the line-in volume muted.

    It's all

if you have an echo when you unmute the line-in then the radio sound is passing well through Winamp and you can keep the line-in muted.
I don't understand what is your problem ?

WinME deselects my Line-In after reboot.

    Hi.

Every time I boot my WinME the Line-in (or CD-in) selection under recording device is deselected.

Does anybody have an idear how to set windows to keep the selection of Line-in (or CD-in) as recording device.

I need to enable everytime I want to listen to the radio
