What do I have to do to get the mixer working?

Neither mine or my friend's mixer works in Mediacar. It doesn't do anything. Do we have to do something to get it to work?

I've tried it with both the Winamp that comes with Mediacar and Winamp 5.

    Thanks,
    -Caine

Yes, unmute the winamp preamp by double clicking on the slider or by pressing the "P" key when the winamp preamp slider is highlighted

    Hi,

    i've made it like this:

Doubleclick the Winamp in the Mediacar Folder twice to see the Winamp.
Then klick on Equalizer the "On" Button. After this time it worked on my CarPC

As I said before, you can do this directly from the Mediacar Mixer, it's the same

Thanks guys for the help. I got it working last night when I alt-tabbed for some other stuff I was doing and noticed the pre-amp in Winamp is OFF by default. = ))

    Thanks!

Even with the preamp active the sliders for the bass and treble control do not make any difference.
Is there a trick to using these????

    Thanks!

Your soundcard has to support adjusting bass/treble. The onboard sound on Via motherboards don't.

Ah ha, I use a Sound Blaster Audigy 2NX. Is there a way to easily find out if it supports it?
