Song Search?

Is there any way to search for songs in Media Car? I'm building a new system for my new car and I used to use winamp as my MP3 player so I could always just pull out the keyboard, hit J and search for songs. Just wondering if there's any way to do this with MC.

The more it resembles an iPod navigation system the better. For browsing through 2000+ songs with one finger nothing beats the iPod.

There is a osk skin defined in the skinfolder, but as far as a looked into medicar it is not possible to search within the audio files. Is that really true?

Also no database like browsing in mediacar (Artist - Album - Titel or Genre - Year - Track)?

Or was I not able to finde the right button?

I agree that there should be some sort of Database like structure and searches. I just got sound from my computer to my speakers and have been playing around with the mp3 player. It works alright but seems very basic right now. No advanced searching or chosong funtions exept for the playlist builder
