i've had this work a couple times, (routis embedded in media car). It seems random, and rare. I tried to recreate it through a couple methods but couldnt ever get it back.
i saw some install pics from altimat see that he's running routis. i also use media car like he does, but the top bar (the black one thats in the attacked navi pic) does not show up when i run it, even though run embedded is checked. it will show up after routis is closed, which means that I have the whole routis window over it when its running. note how he doesnt have the blue taskbar or whatever uptop and its just the drop-down menu's. i still have that taskbar
could someone help me out because it gets annoying when i have to close routis and then click close on the mediacar console
then go to nav screenshot
thanks!

wow...just messed around with it and made it run embedded...all you hafta do is delete the search string and leave the field blank...

i think the proper configuration is to make the search string say *routis* ... if you leave it blank I would suspect it could attach to any other window you may have open in the background.

actually...i tried that first but it ended up running IE when i loaded gps...so it worked better when left blank for me
probably because, your IE at that time had *routis* along the title bar!Originally Posted by aznblueeboi
Hello,
I plan on running Routis with MediaCar, and don't want any issues. What are you guys talking about as a fix. What search string?
Thanx
