Thread: Character LCD in MediaCar

I just noticed the "Enable LCD" option in MediaCar while fooling around with the setup.

Does anybody have extensive experience with this option? I really wanted to go for a character LCD, but since I wanted to use either MediaEngine or MediaCar, I didn't think that was going to be possible. How does the navigation of menus/controlling MediaCar work? More difficult than with a monitor LCD? What exactly does it display?

Because of price constraints, I'm probably going to have to get a character LCD now, and then a VGA/S-Vid LCD later when I've got the cash. Is the MediaCar LCD option a good option to use, or should I instead look into other custom options intended for character LCD's?
