cheerio: most definitely. However I want to make sure something is going to work before I give out that kind of information. Who knows what could happen

russ: I'd suggest getting a book on electronics and get started with that. see if it's something you wanna do/feel comfortable with. I can give you a bunch of information on wiring. Unfortunately it's much more than just knowing pinouts.

Unfortunately I've had to temporarily shift my extra time elsewhere. 1 work 6 days a week, so it leaves very little time. I'll get there

I was just about to order pieces for a similar setup and I'm very interested to see how you are handling the sliders. Is this the type of schematic that you've been working with for the fan?

I used a simple "textbook" implementation. I attached the schematic. However since it's only +5v the 600 ohm should be a 220 ohm.

Unfortunately after the fans I wasn't able to continue with this project because of time constraints. Hopefully in the next month or so I will have some more time! If you have any idea's feel free to speak out loud

As it stood I was going to look at using a transistor to swing my +12v to the +12 rail. There should be an opamp that can work close to rail, hopefully enough to get it cold but above and beyond that haven't had anytime to give it any thought

    Keep us updated

Any news on this project as I would like to relocate my manual HVAC controls but to eliminate them completely might be nice too. But regardless you are a very smart man for doing this so far.
