Great program..
Could you make an option for gallons and miles to litres and kms for us in europe???? That would be great....
Thanks in advance....
I always kept track of my how much gas i use and miles/gallon type info. normaly i did it in a excel sheet but since i decided to put a comp in my car i figuard i would make a program to do everything for me. if anyone else does this they might like it, maybe not, but it has a builtin keyboard for touchscreens and mouse input. it keeps tracks of individual fill ups and give total averages for all the fill ups. it dosnt run embeded but works ok through the external app. i also included sizes for 800X600 and the 848X480. i also included a file with a few entries from my car so u can take a look at what it displays if u want to use it just open up the fillups.csv and delete all the entries. it has all the stuff i want in the program but if u want something else let me know at siduri99 @ fastmail.fm (remove the spaces of course), also let me know what u think about the program and be as brutal as u want![]()

Neat little program.
I actually had a problem with this on my laptop, but my desktop ran it no problem. Are there any requirments? Do you have to have Microsoft Excel?
Also, as said before the European would be a nice touch. You would have to re do the math because not only do they use liters, but they measure how many liters you would use in 100 km. So, it's very much backwards to what the US uses. Also a choice of monetary denominations (Euro, $, Canadian$, Pound, etc) would be good.
Still neat thing to use. I may plug in a few numbers to see what mileage my car's getting.

Had been looking for something like this thanx. I think you should talk to frodo and get embedded into frodoplayer.
beautiful, it would be however' to also foresee Litri/Km (I live in Italy)Originally Posted by thomasd

My feedback would be the following:
- Loose the station field and the price per gallon.
- make everything (now we have trimmed it down) bigger
- only require the things on the recepit, total price, # gallons.
Also, this probably doesn't apply to too many people, but for me I need to keep track of two tanks. Then again, I get a constant diesel milage anyway. What I gain in efficiency at speed, I loose in air resistance and vice versa, so my mpg is a constant regardless of driving (unless its offroad). The only thing that makes any difference is the AC, which cuts the mpg in half. I dont use it anyway...

i can change the program for europe, but was thrown off a little about the liters and 100km? just want to clerify what kindof of math do u want? also there really isnt anything special with the money, just the $, so no matter what denominations u put in it should be correct.
also for the requirements, only thing i can think of is u need to have the .net framework installed
Same comment but in north america... Canada has liters and km/hOriginally Posted by thomasd
here in Canada the liter of gas is now 1$, will start doing more math about it...
liters per 100Km is a little diff then miles per gallon.
Instead of indicating the distance you do with the volume, you indicate what volume is required for a specific distance.
how many liters is required for a 100km distance.
