    Animating:
You can design a series of pictures to repeat in rapid sucession<sp?, in Flash. Otherwise you would have to use avi, QT, or <yuck>animated Gif to create the water movement and the glass movement. But, IMHO, the last hting I want to do is chase my buttons around the screen. Bryce should export a SWF ( for flash).

    Furthermore,
A 3d menu that exists visually would be sweet. Better than just 3d buttons, per se. It would add "space" to the interface which is always mesmerizing. Perosnally, I use Cinema 4d for 3d rendering, because of its toon feature.

Good luck in your endeavor, and I hope I helped. Have any questions, let me know.

i would love to do that but for some reason in bryce i dont see an option to do this, it is a full 3d wireframe application, i dunno, maybe if u take garmond font, and go into photoshop and make the font look like it is etched, i can place it in, and mess around with it, i have another program poser, which i am goin to install now, and mess around with different things maybe there is a 3d font they have in poser, thanks

I believe this is the link to a tutorial for using the "difference" effect. It looks like they call it: A boolean operation.

This will, in effect, remove the space of object 1 from the space of object 2.

Let me know if this works.

Here is the etching effect in C4D. (it is a boole function in c4d, oddly enough. I never knew)

The glass is set to be less transparent and the etching is a frost effect.

I'm not developing a skin. I just wanted to see if it came out okay.

so, bimmercore, if you have any questions, I would love to help.

    Skin Dev

I was playing with two of the skins(default and the Alpine). Converting the 3D interface to work with the current skinning technique looks a bit tedious to say the least.

You have your work cutout for you. Let us know where you are on this project.
