I'd make the two urls flex able for others.. rather than hard coding.. now... if there was a button to bring MC or another app back in to view when finnished...Originally Posted by stevieg

OK
Later I will have a test with my mobli and see if it dials/disconnects, and change the coding of the app so the URLS can be changed etc (including sizes/labels), and also add a few essentials such as disconnet internet on program exit.
I will also have a look at the Traffic net one and see if there is anything else that can be done to it to make it larger/follow vehicle etc.

Some thing to bare in mind is that most people will be using either around 800x600 ish or less so that may look fairly large any way.Originally Posted by stevieg

Check and the Connect/Disconnect buttons do work connected to a mobile phone for net accessexpected to have to debug it first!
Though one thing I will be adding is some kind of receive lights (like in the status bar) as net access is slow, and it's nice to know if it's still doing something!

Heres a thought.. on the lines we discussed the other day for a third screen.Originally Posted by stevieg
The third one could use your service. With a setting for periodically connecting to the internet ( or a dial in service if at home ) and logging in and downloading from a specific server the complete csv file. ( again configrable if you ever move urls or its hosted else where etc.
The data then could be shown as icons on the map then just like voices.. but indipendent.
If you specify to download or look at a file others who do not have internet in their car could download before they leave and use it still - but not live. If you do that like I said I'd also provide another 'automated' downloader so they can click and the file will be saved some where like a floppy or USB key ?
