USEMAP="#localmap" is what allows you to click on the thing to see specifics (idk how you can implement it).

This is the ini file in the launch folder I am using:

TryEmbeddedTimeOut = 5
WindowSearchString=mobileweb
Seems to work with that fine

Working on the very basics of re-formatting the travel info at http://www.multimap.com, - very basic so far, half an hour of work on Friday afternoon, but the travel info is the same as that used by RDS-TMC data in the UK so with a little work could give us a good data source.

I have used that exact .ini and tried it on two different machines and it won't embed... Weird... I have tried opening the .vbp and changing the name to something else.. It still didn't work...
On both machines it goes into the embed mode in MediaCar, but the mobileweb windows is still movable, but if you click the X in MediaCar it does close the mobileweb window... Does it on my desktop, laptop, and car..

Weird tried it and although always worked fine for me before; though just had a problem as you said. Which is good, I hope maybe I can fix it

It appears that when you run mobileweb it actually creates two window names called "mobileweb" and the first one is not the window... so I think mediacar is trying to embed the first one and it really should grab the second one.... I am not sure why two mobileweb's show up... I am using the embedder search program mobile1 wrote sometime ago...

So if I had bluetooth set up, or 802.11b...would I be able to drive up to a coffee shop or somewhere that had wireless connectivity set up and just start using it?
yes.. If you have an internet connection this program will work without having to mess with any of the connectivity stuff... I use this program in my driveway with my 802.11B...
