is there an equivalent traffic page for the US like the trafficNet that is set to default?
That has been working for over a year... I got the scraping url from MythWeather, which is a weather plugin for MythTV, a linux PVR software.... MythWeather has been working for a longtime with that url... I have personally been using it for over a year, but it might have been working even longer...
Its pretty cool grabbing that javascript function... real clean...

just now discovered that this very usefull application exists! this is one of the things i was looking for. Reminds me a bit of the avantgo application I use on my palm.
I wouldvery much like to have the possibility to add a lot more url's....is that possible without to much work?

Yes no problem. How many (roughly) do you want to add, any more than 50?
Also to anyone having problems embedding this, I found that if I set the timeout in the mediacar INI file to 10 instead of 5 it always embeds!

I am using 800x600... When I maximize it there is some blank at the bottom!!!
Yes it works with a GPRS modem, in fact that is what I use it with.Originally Posted by DjBac
You need to configure your dial-up modem in Windows normally and set it in Internet explorer as the default connection (and possibly set to dial if needed)
Once it works in Windows it should then work in MobileWeb as it uses windows APIs for connect/disconnect

What does your INI file say, should me the contents and I'll see if it's like mine.Originally Posted by DjBac
yes I could, or if you wanted to you could too. You want me to have a look?
It shouldn't have some blank at the bottom in 800x600 as the background is actually 800x600 in size can you post a screenshot?

[GENERAL]
PATH = C:\Program Files\Mediacar\mobileweb\mobileweb.exe
TryEmbeddedTimeOut = 10
windowsearchString=mobileweb
This is the *.ini file...
I've attached a screenshot!!!
I don't think I can try the alpine skin since I don't have any background or button images!!!![]()
that is strange, try 15 seconds?
Do you have any windows explorer windows open with mobileweb as the title?
