MobileWeb v1.0 for MediaCar Released

OK made some changes in V1.0.21 (download new version at the top of the thread - same URL)

* Changed images folder to skin\skinname folder, skinname set in mobileweb.ini and included alpine skin as well as brushedmetal
* Changed program options for windowing, appears to embed better
* Added NoEmbed option for those that cannot embed still. This will move th window to the right place, remove title bars, correct width/height. There is also an EXIT button.
* Changed the way the background is drawn. Now scales to size of screen dynamically.

Still to come is the longer list of URLs as I need to re-work it so there is a scrollable region. Let me know if this helps with the embedding/blank bit problems.

It still won't embed!!!
So this is what happens... If I have a windows explorer window open it will close it and it won't embed!!!
if I choose YES to the new option it positions where it should be but then, the taskbar appears and the buttons from mediacar (launch, exit etc) won't appear!!!

Also the EXIT buttons with the alpine skin it the same with brushed metal!!!

OK, I have the exact same problem with other programs (ie notepad)... The taskbar appears, there is room on the top left for the buttons but they don't appear!!!!
They are found when I close manually the program and then go to "LAUNCH"!!

UPDATED:

01st September 2004 = V1.0.27
* Changed (again) the way it embeds. You will need to update your LAUNCH mobileweb.ini as new search is *mweb*
* Added full-screen option. Note that the 'return from full screen' is 'always on top' so you should return to normal mode before switching to another part of mediacar
* Add extra URLs. At present upto 5 are allowed. I am working on a longer list but need to re-work the app slightly as it involves a scroller.

When it tries to embed it leaves some space at the bottom (like there was the taskbar, although I have it "auto-hide" and NOT on top).. The space is grey as the backgound of the app!!!

EDIT: only the first 2 URLS work!!

Thank you Stevie! This is a very neat app. I got it to embed so I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I jused *mweb* as my search string. Works great.

Can some one change the button_on color to Feb's Red glow color. I don't have a copy of photoshop handy and could use a hand. Thanks for your help before hand!
