Thread: Skins: they refuse to work! crash!

It sounds like your skin directory is messed up, or you didnt complete setup.
Has MediaCar ever worked for you?
Tell me exactly what you did and I'll try to help you.

I installed it correctly i think
i have reinstalled it numerous times, and even reformatted the pc

It works on the normal skin.

To add more I have:

Unzipped the new skin
Copied the files in their directory into the Skins directory.
Open MediaCar
Go to skins
change the skin to the new one
click select

then it crashes, and shows th above given message!

Did you remember to register the font files?

some of them dont have fonts with them.....

I have just uploaded self extracting zip files for my skins try one Download. You will need the font there's a link right below the skin link. Then if you want a brand you can get it also.

after installing the font everything was fine on your skin, thanks!

i did however really want the brushed alluminium skin, but this doesnt work, and I cant see a font for it!

error 13 is usually a font problem.

Any idea what error 380 is? Thats what i keep getting.
