    "Safety Cameras"

Somewhere else on the forum there is a post by Confused, about incorporating a safety camera, speed, direction warning in destinator with frodo player Destinator for FrodoPlayer with bearing/speed/safety camera warning. Can this be done in mediacar? and please tell me how. I have managed to get the download from pocket GPS, and got it in to autoroute. But I am a newbie and am struggling with frodo player at the moment will preserver though, something in my head isnít clicking with it, but im sure it will eventualy.

OK, here is the link to the thread about it

    Hope it helps!

BTW, I've updated this code greatly for AIMEE, with many improvements (ie it's much "cleverer"), which will hopefully be released within the next couple of months

    Hi Confused
I have done as you say, but I seem to have done something wrong, please help:
If I go mediacar, gps it comes up as normal. but if I go into the media car root file and click externaldest, it comes up on the screen corectly but I cant get rid of it only by control, alt, del. in setup the path is C:\Program Files\MediaCarjm\ExternalDest.exe, and the aditional window search string is *externaldest* what have I done wrong?

Glad to hear you've got it sorted

In the MediaCar version, it is closed by MediaCar itself, so there is no seperate Exit button, as there is in FrodoPlayer

    Hi two last questions.
1/ I am having a problem up dating the "comma seperated values file" with the latest one any ideas?
and 2/ when I shut Mediacar down I cant restart it Con/alt/del shows dest 2 still running, close it and all is well
Operator error some where I know

Erm, the latest csv file might have spaces between the fields. Try opening it in Notepad and replacing all spaces with nothing

Before you exit MediaCar, be sure to close ExternalDest by using the X button. If you leave it running (by returning to the menu via the arrow), MediaCar will not shut it down properly. This is a MediaCar bug, not something I am able to fix in my program
