    I have 2x 0/16/16 1x 8/8/8 2x servo controllers, 1x G-sensor, 3x light sensors, 2x Volt-Meters, 1x Temp sensor!!!
    You can use as many as you want!!!
    Ricky327 is currently developing a Good card that will have many outputs and inputs, yes you can add a relay to the outputs for bigger loads and yes you can have battery voltage monitoring on the inputs via A-D converters
    there really is no need to buy phidgets cards alough i must admit they are the best commercial cards i have seen, and the best benfit id the usb interface

    Yes Im working hard on it again, got some time to finally sort out the PCB atleast, atlast I got some time. Brooksware2000 is also designing one, hes almost done...been helping each other out.

    Sorry for the delays. I just hate it when I cant get things finished...but I will soon.

    Heres a pic, I think its simple enough for most poeple to build

    Of course I have yet to build it, finished off the code, test and revise the design if needed.

    If found useful Ill upgrade it to 33 I/O lines.

    All the relays are off board by the way. The board only measure 4x2 inches.

    The spec has been revised again.

    8 x Relays
    8 x Digital inputs (12V input)
    4 x 10-bit ADC analog inputs (up to 16V FSD)

    When you say 33 I/O Lines how do you mean?
    i mean the 8 relay outputs are binary outputs correct?
    and the 8 digital inputs plus the 4 analoug inputs gives up 20 I/O lines

    At the moment it is based around the PIC16F870 and have 22 I/O lines.


    The PIC16F871 got 33 I/O lines,

    2 are used for comport.
    Upto 8 ADC can be configured.
    and 23 are left to be used for digital inputs or relays.

    So on the PIC16F871 we can have a spec of something like :
    8 x 10-bit ADC
    12 x Relays
    11 x Digital inputs.

    The 12 outputs is definatly of interest this is mainly where we will be concentrating AIMEE's features towards
    the 11 inputs would be ideal for such things as limit switches and indication as to what is enabled in the car etc i.e amp power or lights on etc use them, as feedback system more than anything, the ADC will definatly be useful for measuring battery voltages and prehaps electric window position sensors,
    ideally id like to see more outputs than anything else but then i guess i could just use a multiplexier for that like a 74154 4-16 line multiplexer

    so if I understand correctly, the pc control the Digital ouputs, and you can action them also with the normal inputs?

    so i can have a normal switch to action the windows and the pc to control them?

    or am i confused?

    The PhidgetMotorControl can control up to 4 DC motors, forward/reverse, stop/start and speed. The PhidgetMotorControl is limited to 2Amps at 12VDC.

    it would be extremely simple to tap the tach/speedo with one of these
    .
