I just had a thought about what's going on with FrodoPlayer and I was wondering if something similar can be done with MediaCar. One of the features I really like is being able to adjust music while running Routis.
There was a program that did the automatic click for Routis. I have MediaCar simply go to that and click the OK which seems to embed Routis just fine. I know the voicenav program also does the 'click'. Is it possible for a program like one of these to send messages to the Winamp running in the background to change tracks?
Perhaps a bar similar like Frodos (all props goes to Frodos, I'm not trying to steal ideas) displayed across the bottom This program starts first, displays that bar, presses click and then runs Routis. Or perhaps this can be added to the voicenav program.
I am, by no means, a programmer and have NO idea how all of this could be accomplished. I just thought it'd add some more functionality to MediaCar since we can change MediaCar itself.

Yes, I'm pretty much ready to switch to Frodoplayer myself. But I have MediaCar in my car now, and know a lot of people are still using MC. Thought it'd be something useful.
Maybe I'll learn to program.

it hurts to see a project with so much work and emphasis put into it like mediacar go to waste.
Yep... I keep trying to figure ways to work around it, but it just won't be the same.... so much potential.

Yeah I hear ya guys....Media Car has been the most stable and easiest program to use. I wish it was open source!!!!
