    Hi Guys...

    This is my first post to the forum…

    Maybe I should state what I have for a car (actually Renault Master van) PC.

    1 EPIA M10000 mainboard.
    2 Sereniti 2000 Case (which I bought off eBay just to get the system up and running…but will not be using this in the van).
    3. 12V DV-DC converter from ITX warehouse.
    4. Lilliput 7” touchscreen.
    5. BU-308 USB GPS Mouse.

    I have read this forum for about two weeks now…and have downloaded and tried most of the front ends (free downloads) out there….or at least the ones mentioned on this forum.

    A.I.M.M.E.E sounds interesting…so will be looking at that when it is available...or is out yet?

    I found that Mediacar is the least buggy…and the one that works best (sor far) with Navigator 4 from Infomap…which I will probably be using for the foreseeable future.

    Last week…I downloaded some skins from feberanze site (spelling???). The one I really wanted was the Renault brushed black metal. It looks awesome!!! I think they were intended for Mediacar…is this right?. So I copied the folder “Renault 2” into the skins folder…but all I get are errors all over the place when I try to reboot Mediacar…and then it won’t boot.

    So I downloaded the Alpine Skin…BANG!..it worked OK…and I notice that there are many more files…and a exe, with the Alpine skin….the feberanze skin did not have all these files. So it may be the case that I don’t really know what to do wit the febaranze skins….or I didn’t get all the files when I downloaded. The site is now “temporarily disabled”…and did read on a thread that he had some bother with “copyright issues”.

    If some one has the files I need for the Renault skin…in black brushed metal…I would be grateful if they could forward it to me if it will email…have broadband…so not a problem. Please send to vintageb3@vintage.f9.co.uk or can someone give me a URL I can go download? Thanks!

    I have other needs…and need to ask other questions…but this is enough on this thread.

    Febs has skins for MediaCar and Frodoplayer.

    What did you download from febs? There's the skin, and then there's the brand. You must have the skin the brand is just a replacment for the main menu, that has you car logo.
    It's the cake having/eating thing.

    What did you download from febs? There's the skin, and then there's the brand. You must have the skin the brand is just a replacment for the main menu, that has you car logo.
    I only downloaded a file called "Renault"...and a file called "Renault 2"

    Wait a min!...I think these were for Media Engine!

    I did download an other file called "steel backgrounds"...but that may be for media engine also...

    So it may mean that I didn't download the correct files at all

    Bummer

    Still could do with a copy if anyone has a link???

    I did do a skin for my laguna.. have a search for 'laguna' maybe.. it was a while back
