Reviving Mediacar

Why doesnt somebody take on mediacar and make improvements to it. We know that coyote has had problems but doesnt mean for the project to go down. Somebody could make it better and revive it. W

Why isnt this happening?

destinator has an SDK. While mediacar is closed source.

ok, i heard that coyote is making money out of mediacar, is that true and where he selling? Also does any one have contact with him in this forum?

It wouldnt be that hard to make a Media car clone

I have half of a media car clone done when i was making my own frontend.

Only reason i made my own was to add other icons and the fact i dont need a DVD icon as i dont use DVD but use other stuff like weather and temp stuff.

But making Media car clone is easy

Making it work with skins is the harder part as i just used my own images as standard.

They are using a licensed version of Media Car.

A bit pricey though.
