    Smile Mapmonkey Intergration into MediaCar

    Hi All,

After Searching for two days straight i still cant find the thread i was looking at before, i have both my MediaCar and Mapmonkey working fine but does mapmonkey intergrate in the same manner which mappoint does, if so what exactly do you fill into the "Additional Search String Window" field, my external app obviously points to mapmonkey.exe but the options to return or exit dont work, thus mapmonkey ends up fighting with MediaCar for resources and if i back track then i have to ALT-Tab to get Mapmonkey back up.

I have search and searched etc and no luck.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many Thanks

Forget MediaCar, use Road Runner. Map Monkey works fine in RR.

Switch to RoadRunner, it is a MediaCar clone but developed much further and is being actively developed with a new release pretty much every other day.

Also, MapMonkey integrates with Road Runner the same as Mappoint does.

Have a look in the Road Runner forum under Software and Software Development.

Why would you want to do a Dual-boot?? Phonecontrol will be integrated with RoadRunner - Hematic I think it is is currently writing the software to plugin between RoadRunner and PhoneControl.

So i have a stable platform while itially ssetting up RR

    Hi,

Just so i have a stable Media Platform while im waiting to finish my RR setup, i had a quick look and i have to say i am impressed by the Mapmonley integrations, how is Mappoint integration, Phone Control would be a good idea if the audio is pharsed through the car stereo,

But back to my original point, do you know how to get Mapmonkey and media car running together, and just one more question, RR does 800*600 or do i need to get a streached Skin to do so.

    Thanks for the Help.

You can use any skin and show in any size you want both in MC and RR, just go into your skin's folder and edit the General.ini to say the showheight and showwidth that you want the skin to have..
