Embedded GPS

Hi I am newto this software and struggling with th nav software I want to use ie. Navigator 4 by tele-atlas when I firs set this as my gps software in media cruiser no problem but whin i plugged in my gps reciever i found a problem. the window title changed to include my gps coordinates and so mediacruiser now refuses to embed. I tried using '*' to replace the coordinates but this did not work although the ini file says u can use wild cards anyone have any ideas?

Always open GPS in *exactly* the same spot!

Thanks for the reply.
I eventually got the prog to embed but now when trying to use the osk each key press results in 2 characters being typed

I will check the wildcard *...

You have 2 characters? Could you give me a concret exemple (type "A" and you get "AB" ?)

When I type A I get AA B gets BB etc but [backspace] gets one back space

you need to turn echo off. --at the terminal ATE0

I send two windows message @the programm (key up & down...I'll check to remove one of this message. Perhaps this is the problem)
