I use it on HTPC, but prefer Frodoplayer or Road Runner for in car...

From my point of view, its more ready for remote then anything else, all the Meedio can be controlled with five buttons only, what is a holy grail for me since I have no touch screen, but use original steering wheel remote, it has a TV / FM integration all front ends can only dream of, its got wether and traffic info implementation... and its stable. Does it answer your questions?Originally Posted by egeekial
Meedio has a lot of advantages. It is fully configurable, customizable, and skinnable. It's databases imports and views are absolute genius.
The biggest drawback is that it is a huge pain to configure right (setting up update schedules and skins and plugins) and I haven't seen anyone do a good job of making a CarPC interface. I tried doing one my self but it was just too time consuming and frustrating.
The particular software in discussion here, Meedio "Express" does not support
plugins etc. To get that, you gotta pay.
