I've got meego handset installed on my carpc with nobdy and meegobd. Working on getting bluemonkey ported. I'll make a video when it actually goes in the car.

MeeGo handset has a music player, but it must be compiled from source at the moment. There's ideas being thrown around for a more IVI specific media player.

Also, my carpc is about as instant on as you can get. I have yet to try it, but I plan on having my carpc scale down to 125MHz and turn off the dvi port (display) when I'm away from the car. When proximity detects I'm nearing my car, or the ignition goes on, it'll scale back up to fast and turn back on the display. It's faster than resuming from sleep. It's also not possible with today's x86 based mini-itx machines.

Here's my boot experience (with somewhat older setup)

From key turn to OS - 40 seconds
Which breaks down thus:

18 seconds before power is applied to motherboard
16 seconds for BIOS check/GRUB/Select IVI (dual boot system)
6 seconds to load IVI :rock:
