Here's your problem:
[ 4080.036] (EE) AIGLX error: dlopen of /usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so failed (/usr/lib/dri/i915_dri.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
you need to install mesa-dri-i1915 (it's in the meego repo)
Note: for those reading this, there is also a mesa-dri-i965 in the repo for those whom may need it...

Hello everybody.
I'm also trying to install meego1.2 on my laptop lenovo X60s Core Duo 1.6 i915. Encounter absolutly the same trouble as Sall did.
after I
Code:
zypper install mesa-dri-i915-driver
and rebooted
X seems have been loaded but it only shows black screen with X-cursor on it.
what else should be done to get to that fancy meego desktop?

fsmart,
Have you followed the steps I wrote up in an earlier post (of this thread)? Could you post your /var/log/Xorg.0.log file (try and attach it instead of posting inline)

NASA Yes, I followed all the steps you've mentioned here. Here's my zipped Xorg.0 log file attached. Thanks for your help)

fsmart,
Could you post your /home/meego/.xsession-errors file? Only errors I saw in the log file was relating to your tracpoint (touchpad, right?), which shouldn't stop the desktop from showing up.

I truncated the tail, it's the same
Code:
"/usr/bin/applauncherd.bin" Connection timeout when waiting for packet 3 Retrying.
"/usr/bin/applauncherd.bin" Connection timeout when waiting for packet 3 Retrying.
"/usr/bin/applauncherd.bin" Connection timeout when waiting for packet 3 Retrying.
"/usr/bin/applauncherd.bin" Connection timeout when waiting for packet 3 Retrying.
the remaining part that has some useful stuff attached

The IVI team released 1.2.0.1 within the last week and it fixed the locked screen problem (which makes a hug difference). There are some additional driver support in that release as well. The usb mounting problem, while not in the 1.2.0.1 release, has been fixed. To solve it upgrade the kernel and add gvfs support, this also fixes a tracker issue I failed to identify in the orginal post. One can connect your bluetooh phone to Meego and use the Hands Free Dialer to recieve/place calls -- however audio (ie: hearing the caller or caller hearing you) is still along the lines of YMMV.
