Thread: Mobile Impact New Version 4.0a Beta Released

No red I dont have a tv view or touch monitor software.. Its a xenarc 700tsv with the latest drivers at egalax. Want to know something else funny it only does it on certain media doesnt it do that on my whole collection just certain tracks.. course i am still using MI 3b in the car.
Oh i i finally took some pics of me using it guess i go post that in the show off the ride forum..

i am going to nstall 4.0c tonight and see if the same media is doing it.

i tried the hold (rightclick) method, and it worked fine. doesn't happen all the time, seems to happen more often durring long periods of full-screen playback like dvds and watching tv episodes

I just took a trip from Michigan to California and I experienced the issue that you are referring to, like you said it doesnt happen all the time, so Im going to have to go line by line and see where it could possibly happen. Thanks again for all the help.

can you find a way to add the flv and mp4 extension into mobile impact. I dotn want to do an extension change to all my files. It screw alot of things up.

how could it screw anything up? if it doesn't work, simply change them back to what they were before

how you say. If you have over 4000 Music videos files and its in all different format its pretty annoying. You can change the file extension but sometimes its just not good. Also change them back aint a simple task if all my files are scatter in my folders. FLV files doesnt go into FLV folders and AVI files dont into there own folder if you know what I mean. I have my music sorted by favorite, Genre, etc.... Its just easier if you can add file extension and it will play.

very true. but until the extensions are worked into a later version (i think red said not till at least 5, i could be wrong) it'd be a handy work around, and easy enough to test, if it plays in media player, simply change one of the said files' extensions. if it works, use a batch file renamer and you're set. i think it'd result in a quicker solution rather than waiting for the front end to be recoded

I love this front end and was waiting for IG3 to be usable, Is it usable in this version? Im trying to install Version 4.0c and I get hung up on registering fonts. It just hangs. But thats after I get the error:
"The following file is in use and cannot be updated C:\Windows/System32\asycfilt.dll"
Gives me a retry or cancel. If I cancel, setup resumes, but will hang when trying to register fonts. Any ideas? Hope I can get this running soon!

[edit]Nevermind, Figured it out. I was installing IG3 and it was taking 1.5GB of RAM to do it. So things wernt running up to par....whoops.
IG3 is working great inside 4.0c and Im EXTREAMLY happy so far. Though my screen resolution is 1027x768 is causing some problems, but I figure once I get it on 800x600 all will be solved. GREAT WORK RED!

Thanks for the compliments. Its always nice to hear, great job, instead of this is broken, heh heh.... Yea, i basically built version 4.0c around the new iguidance version, then realized that i couldnt make everyone go out and buy it so i had to still support the older versions too. Im still planning on resolving some of the issues with shuffle and a few other things.
