Thread: what dvd codecs does everybody use?

Im pretty sure it has to do with the programs that are loaded and running in the background. Try removing any unnecessary processes that are running, like with PowerDVD it installs a dvd drive monitoring component, remove this from startup and it should free up your system resources.
