sorry for the delay in the response, im in the midst of moving from michigan to california at the moment. You need to have itunes installed only because it will install the driver for the ipod. Do this also to verify that the system is recognizing the ipod at all. Try this and let me know how it goes.

Sorry to take so long to respond on this, ive been moving from michigan to california, then went back to michigan and then back to california again. So im done moving now. Im sorry i dont have an answer on this for you on this. When i developed it, i used a shuffle to code it. I havent used a nano or anything bigger to test it. Has anyone else had this issue?
