keystroke converter

I use MI along with a GPS program that will not embed into the program because it has to run at a set resolution (I live in New Zealand and there are a lot of choices). The problem I have is that I have to use a keyboard to Alt+Tab between MI and my GPS program.

It would be so much easier if I could use a USB keypad (numeric) and some sort of keystroke converter to change the +,-,* and / keys to ALT, TAB, Space and F4.

My question.....does anyone know of a good FREE program that could do this??

I found the Autohotkey program about 10mins after posting this topic and it works great. Ive actully gone one better.

The "." key on the keypad now brings the GPS software to front and maximises and if this is not running it will start it. Also does the same thing in reverse if the GPS software is running and MI isn't. Great lil program. Thanks guys.
