New Installation

When I try to open Mobile Impact, I get an error #68, device unavailable.

On the machine that I am playing with right now, I do not have a GPS (something is wrong with the dongle - WINXP doesn't recognize it) or a DVD, could either of those be the problem, and if so, is there some way to get around that?

BTW I really like your front end, I hope I can get it to work!

the error 68 could be caused by the dvd player.. or not having flash..go into settings and make sure the path is defined for your music correctly.. same for the dvd drive. since there is none.. what was the last thing you were using before ya got the error.. MI tries to open the last thing you had open and that could be crashing it.Sort of like a resume.

Just go into the config.ini file in the c:\program files\mobile impact folder and delete any entries that point to a path for music. Just like nigwhyrito said, it tries to open the last file that was playing upon opening.
