    XM Radio

Sorry no, I dont have XM radio so Im not able to do any development with it. If someone would like to donate one I would be happy to work on it.

I have looked into regular FM radio integration, but all of the computer FM radio cards that I have used, get terrible reception, including the built in one on my Mega 615.

I have used amplified antennaes, line amplifiers with no success. I can listen to the radio through my head unit anyway so I didnt pursue it further.

Thank you reddeath30 for sharing the great software with us. The default resolution is 640x480. How can I change it to 800x480?

    Resolution

Sorry but it cant be changed, the program should automatically change your screen resolution to 640 x 480 when it starts, then restore your settings upon exit. Programming it this way eliminated alot of extra code for the graphics, making it able to be higher quality and a faster program.
Does you screen support this resolution? In theory this shouldnt be a problem, but I dont have a screen that runs at 800 x 480 so I didnt have a chance to actually test it against it. If your monitor supports the 640 x 480 resolution which I have never run into one that doesnt, it should work fine. I know that the Xenarc and several other displays that support 800 x 480 also support the 640 x 480. Is this a problem viewing it in this resolution?

    Bug Fixes

Found a couple of small bugs and fixed them:
When in audio mode, switching to N64 emulator turns off audio, and doesnt save song position. -> Fixed
When going from one external application set to play with audio to one that is set without and then back to one with audio doesn't save the song position. -> Fixed

Included the help pdf file with the installation and it creates an icon in the start menu.

Thank you for you reply. If I use 640x480 instead of 800x480, the image will become blurred. And also, the menu will be deformed a little bit.

sometimes 640x480 can cause problems on some displays... also, because the format is 16x9 and not 4:3, on these widescreens, the 640x480 look much worse than 800x600 (because the physical resolution supports 800 dots horizontally, there is no need to alter the image sideways, and going from 600pixels to 480 pixels is just some picelx being lost, basically 20%. Going from 640 to 800 pixels on the other hand required that the display fill in gaps, which look ugly...

Will look into this, it looks really nice!! But I would also like to be able to run it in other resoluitions (ex 800x480).

The only thing I miss is the function for a rear view camera that frodoplayer has, but that can mybe be fixed in some other way.

    Screen Res

RoyN ansewed this question well. I just wanted to add you should check what the maximum native resolution is for your displays. Some of the TV's we work with claim they will do 1024 x 768 but when you hook it up it looks horrible.

    I learnt a valuable lesson.

There is a difference between maximum resolution and native resolution.

I would have to agree that it's not a good idea to ask for your own sub-forum. I got flamed pritty bad when I did.
Spent all my money on carputers now I have to work a real job.
