sweet! looking forward to it, much appreciated!!
Just wanted to let everyone know that I am just about finished with the new version. I have all of the difficult stuff taken care of, and I have rearranged the main menu so that there is no sub menu. I have also improved the split screen support.

Hey red, I've been using MI for a long time now. Love it
A few of my friends have been asking why, out of all the things my carputer can do, why can't it do am/fm radio?
So i was just wondering if you have any plans on integrating a controller for radio into your software? the mp3car.com store has this little am/fm tuner thats controlled with usb. I really would like to get one but MI doesnt support it so im not sure how i would use it.
It seems that the visualization is running about 1.5 seconds sooner than the music I am hearing. I have the latest version of MI and am using the onboard sound for my SP13000 MB. I am running about 45% of system resources right now. I plan on getting an aftermarket audio card, but not for a bit.
Anyone else notice this? Or is it just my setup?
Red, the way the info displayed at the middle/top is different from music source to music source. Audio=song info, XM=station info. When I run my GPS program (Garmin as an external app) with audio the top has the vol+/- and song info, with XM (which is most of the time) the top is all grey. It would be nice have the vol+/- buttons and to see the XM artist and other info rotate up there as well.
OH, the delay seems to be XM only.
Glad you like it. I would integrate it in a heartbeat if it got decent reception, but so far there arent any products that are half way decent. I have visited this a few times and every time that do the research, all I see is tremendously bad reports of the reception. I figure that most people have some sort of head unit in their vehicles that have an FM tuner. One thing that I have wanted for myself is to be able to hear the GPS voice guidance and the FM radio at the same time, this would be acheived by routing the audio output from the head unit to the line in on the computer. It would take a bit of tricky wiring, but it is possible.
