    Slow Emulation

I have the same issue, the only emulator that seems to run flawless is the NES emulator and it wont let me set up my inputs any more. It thinks Im holding down a button or something. Weird

I tried changing the config in both the snes and gba emulators but both have the same problem.

Reddeath is it possible to have a volumn control in the M.I config file for the emulators? As they are shocking loud on my system compaired to music and divxs.
Unfortunately there is no way to set up a master volume control for all of the emulators. Only the NES and N64 have separate volume controls in their options. The other emulators rely on the windows volume.

I have had reports that the Via boards dont do the emulators very well. They all only require Pentium 2 - 266mhz processors but the Via boards still display the games poorly. I think that the video cards are really weak on them or something, which is unfortunate because they are so compact and cool. Try downloading a fresh copy from my website and reinstall it. It will overwrite and replace all of the files in case something got messed up. Hope this solves it for you. Let me know if it doesnt and then we can persue a different approach if needed.

I just downloaded the manual for the VIA EPIA M10000 motherboard manual and looked closely at the video settings. It looks like you can increase the allocated memory size. This may fix the problem. Here is the screenshot.

Yep this is still being developed. So far there hasnt been any need for updating it unless there are some new versions of the emulators that I dont know about. I have been working on Mobile Impact for release some time in the next couple of weeks, so I have been focusing on that. Let me know if you have any suggestions for the program and I will happy to include them in the next release if it is possible. Thanks.

Reddeath - do you have any plans on updating Snes9x? I see the version packaged is 0.20, but they are up to 1.5 (1.43 for Windows). Only reason I ask is my gamepad doesn't work in 0.20, but does work in 1.43.

I dropped in the newest version but unfortunately it doesn't stretch the video to cover the Mobile Emulator window. I just get a tiny window inside of it. Any suggestions?

Nevermind, found an option to "stretch image". That cleared it up.

Thank you, thats good to know. I will be updating it anyway and then setting that switch so that it will install that way for others.

Okay, I just have to ask as I've been messing with this for hours (I do mean hours............like 5!!!)
I'm new to the whole "carputer" but far from new to computers or car modification. WIth that said, I can't get MI to open an emualtor program. When I go to Emulator inside mobile impact, it just gives me access to my C: drive. I mean, it literally gives me a tree view of all the folders as if I executed a DOS :/list command.
    I have MI installed C:\Program Files\Mobile Impact\ and the same goes for C:\Program Files\Project64\
What am I doing wrong? Any and all help is appreciated!
